shocks and leveling kit

Default shocks and leveling kit

I just ordered som Bilstein HD shocks for my 1998 ram quad cab 4x4. After i placed my order ithought why didn"t i get a leveling kit also. My question is can I put a 2" leveling kit on the truck with the bilsteins that were made for my stock 2500? I wish I thought of this before I ordered them. Thanks.

2 inches is about max before needing longer than stock shocks. I have a 2" leveling kit on mine with stock length KYBs and it is fine. If you want more peace of mind, you can get extenders that thread onto the shaft end of the shock. They look like this:
