Default Front End Parts

I have a '98 3500 4x4 drw V10, Had a drunk drive down my driveway last week in a 2000 Toyota Celica at about 60mph. No DOA's so thats good. Anyway Ram was airborn about 15 feet landed on my fence and between my house and a cedar tree. Bent the bumper and baseball sized dent in fender, however the bulk of the impact was to the tire, diff and suspension. missed the frame (some small frame rack time I am sure).

I have it at the body shop now and more or less have blank check from insurance co to fix it. I am sure we a getting a recycled Dana 60 as my housing is bent and at least new knuckle on left, I just had tie rod ends, ball joints, and my third Track bar put on in March. New PS Box, all steering gear is bent, control arms bent, steering stabilizer bent, I think spring (Skyjacker leveling springs) is OK, Eagle alloy bent, hubs and rotors both sides drivers side took impact and need to replace as a set, Bridgestone Revo Popped, oil cooler bent.

So I am thinking that now is the time to upgrade and fix some of the Dodge crap (track bar!!!!). I am sure I can go upgraded aftermarket on everything and still be below what ins co has for line item costs.

So assuming you had a chance to replace everything on the front end what should I get?

Oh, one less Toyota Celica in the world.

The ending was clear, but the start was fuzzy. Are you the drunk or were you hit by a drunk?

Sorry tried to make it short. I was in bed asleep, truck in driveway. Celica started skidding 250 feet prior to hitting my truck, driver missed corner came straight up my driveway and into the Ram and then into my cargo trailer and then truck hit house. Damage not as bad as I would have expected toyota nose dived and hit steering/suspension most everything bent in the front end. Driver took off on foot and left his girlfriend mangled up in car. I had maybe 20 crime scene (CSI) guys here till about 10am, they did not think the girl was going to make it, but she did. Huge pain in the *** I have like six insurance adjusters involved but truck is in shop now.

That is crap. What a scum bag that guy is to leave the girl and run, not to mention what he did to you RAM! You know I saw a house one time that must have experienced something similar to what you are describing. This house was either at the end of a street or on a dangerous turn (can't remember) but they set up some pylons (big pipes filled with cement) at the end of their yard (by the side walk) to prevent cars from skidding or driving into their house like that. Seemed crazy when I saw it but then it made instant sense.

They estimated the speed at impact 60mph+ and 100-125mph when the brakes started being applied. Neighbor caught up to driver and he said "I don't want to go to jail" absolut POS loser.
