well i finally decided to bite the bullet again and i just scheduled and payed half of a 4.56 gears swap, LSD differential in the rear and both my front u-joints replaced...ive been waiting for it to happen and i just finally did it...guess im in the spending mood today! going in thursday and theyre going to get it done in ONE DAY im pretty excited ill let you know updates!

why run such tall gears with such small tires?

i was gonna ask that as well. im gonna be getting my u-joints replaced by the shop because i dont have the time or the real know-how to do it myself, and they're charging me around $250-300. is that right?

yea man, i got a quote from a place down the road to do the r&p swap for both axles , the LSD rear and the u-joints and he told me it was minimal $2200 maybe more and it will take 3 days and i couldnt get it in for 4 MORE WEEKS!.........so i went with a place about an hour away who will do it in a day for SO MUCH LESS

thats awesome. about how much does it usually run to have them replace front axle u-joints?

that im not sure of...i know some guys on here have had someone do them so they would know better. all i did was tell them all i wanted and they gave me one total price so im not sure about the u-joints them selves
