Default Transfer Case

Well, my truck is running great after changing the governor and solenoid sensors in the tranny and also adding a shift kit. The guy who did it told me my transfer case is leaking and he suggested I do the seals.

I this a DIY job and if it isn't how much should i expect to pay? If i rememebr correctly he told me it would be a couple of a hundred bucks.

Probably right on price IF that is what is needed. Where is it leaking from?

I'll have to get under there and clean things off to pinpoint the leak.

Most of the ones I've seen is the area between the tranny and the transfer case housing. Also some I've seen leak from the tailshaft housing seal at the back of the transfer case by the driveshaft.
