Default Different halo issue....:(

SO I rewired my lights, they work great now. I havent touched my halos, theyre just spliced into my parking lights. For some reason, three of my 4 halos stay on after I turn my lights off. Im not sure if they stay on indefinatly or if is just a little bit.

Help?

Only way they are staying on is if they are somehow connected to the battery (or a live wire that eventually goes to the battery). Are you sure you hooked them up to the right wires?

Yep, the halos are spliced into the (minor) parking wire. THe major is the turn signals, minor is just the parking lights and of course ground to ground. WHat i really dont understand is that three of the 4 halos are on. The farthest driver side halo doesnt stay on when the ram is off.

Are the parking lights on as well, or just the halos? Do they stay on when you turn on the parking or head lights?

I might suggest considering returning them to the seller for replacement. This is a lot of issues for a, in theory, simple upgrade. Personally, I blame China.

I know the same friend I talked about in the other thread, the one with the GMC Yukon, had to send the driver's side back in for replacement because one of his halos was not functioning at all.

I just shipped them back. Your right, I should have to deal with this crap for a "plug and play" installation. But for the record, if i put my parking lights on and off, everthing worked great. Halos would turn on with parking lights and then turn off with parking lights. After I truned my headlights on (along with the halos) everything works great, then as soon as I shut off my headlights and parking lights, the halos stay on. Only the halos stay on.

Yeah, sounds like you did everything right and there is something up with the wiring itself inside the unit or the halos themselves.
