I have since opened a claim with paypal.
If anyone knows this person, or other forums he hangs out on, could you let him know that paypal and I would like to talk to him. Thanks!

That sucks man. I just got burned myself on another forum I belong to. I will try to help if I can. We need to find out where this joker lives first then go from there.

Despite the situation and the evidence as presented, I want to reiterate that I did NOT call the seller a scammer...yet.

Perhaps he is in school and a bit busy.

I'm not sure that Paypal would guarantee my funds if they cannot contact the seller.

After a certain period of time... a few weeks or a month, something along those lines, can't recall exactly... if the seller does not provide proof of shipping/delivery, the funds will be yanked from his PayPal account and given back to you. The burden of proof is with him, he has to prove he sent you the product. If he doesn't respond at all to PayPal's inquiries, PayPal treats it the same as an admission of guilt.

If his account has insufficient funds, or a zero balance, your money will still be given back to you and his account will go negative (just like an overdrawn checking account). After a certain amount of time, if he does not rectify this, they will close his account "negatively", meaning every piece of information that he gave to PayPal, from his name or social security number to any bank accounts or credit cards he associated with the account, will be blacklisted, and if that happens, he'll never be able to use PayPal again for anything (without faking his ID).

NOT TRUE...just got my resolution backfrom paypal. Yes they decided in my favor but can only guarantee recovery of funds if the account has funds in it. So I got nothing. Some guarantee huh?

Mr Blowfish...YOU ARE A SCAMMER !!!!!! I wonder how many other people bought into his lie, and he now has a SCT bought on other peoples money. I hope his PCM fries...
AHHHHHH...just checked his profile, and he was on today...so hes got my messages. Hey ....PM me ! I know you've read mine...

Sorry to hear about your loss. I definately learned
#1. not to trust anyone even though they are on this forum
#2. use Ebay if possible due to the feedback profile "helping" to weed out deadbeats
