any idea on what size fuse to use for adding the fuse holder??

I would think a 10 amp fuse would be more than enough.

i guess a fuse wouldn't hurt. the last diy i saw for this was from the admin guy 94rt.... i don't remember his name but he has the viper and the 09 ram in his sig so it shouldn't cause any problems since one of the big dogs on the site has a thread telling how to do it.

I've driven a couple times at night since i put the jumper wire in and it makes me wonder why dodge has the fogs set to cut off with the high beams. it makes a big difference with them on.

Blinding oncoming traffic perhaps? The factory fog lamps on my Harley are the same way.

you don't have any oncoming traffic when your high beams are on. that's what i don't get. when there is no one else around it should be all systems go with the lights on the front. that's how it is for me, those lights in my brush guard aren't just for show.

That may be true in NC, but here in CA some moron is always driving with his high beams on. Usually the same idjut with his left turn signal always on.
