Default Brake bleeder broke

The bleeder on the driver rear is snapped off. When I do the brakes, can it be drilled out and tapped? The passenger side is ominously rusty as well. I plan on replacing wheel cylinders and shoes when I do them. Any other things I should look for when they are apart? I will have the drums turned if the are in spec.

it can be drilled out, but a cylinder is a replacement (or rebuildable) item. its easiest to just replace them for about $6-10 each.
