i gotta 97 ram 1500 ext cab 5.2l 318 auto trans 2wd with 3" lift and 32s on it. my buddy has a 2006 tacoma crew cab short bed 4x4 v6 and wants to race me. wat you think will happen??? i say ima spank his *** but at the same time i no they are pretty quick for a v6

I say it will be a good race. My mom has a 2007 4Runner with the 4.0. Very torquey little motor. The 4.0s also have a higher hp rating than the 5.9 did. Either way, have fun on the 1/4. Post your times.

 

well put i thinck the yota would win just because it would jump so fare a head in the start but u might catch him on the top end. my mom has a toytoa 4runner with the 4.7 v8 and that thing hauls ***.

the toyota is gonna win. i drove one last year and it had big tires (maybe 34") from the factory and i couldn't believe how powerful it was. it seemed like as soon as i hit the gas from a stop i was doing 50. then when i turned around and got on it doing 30mph i spun the wheels. so yeah, you're gonna lose unless you have motor and gear upgrades.

My buddy drives a 01 Taco with over 200K on it and I drive a RCSB 5.9L 4X4 and his Yota embarrasses my truck.

 

plus that yota prob weighs like 2000 pds less

 

i raced my friend wit a taco and i spanked it.

 

Did it have the V6? Was it towing a trailer? Did the driver really know you were racing?
