Default Serpentine belt alignment

Ok new problem. I searched the forum for a step by step but couldn't find one.

I had the infamous belt squeal so I replaced the belt and tensioner assembly. I noticed the original belt had wear on the fan side but the belt look otherwise in good shape. I dressed the new belt (yes I am aware now that you shoudn't do that) and it jumped off after about 5 miles of driving.

I just got finished replacing the the belt once again and cleaned the belt dressing off all the pulleys. When it jumped off it shredded the fan side of the belt. I started the truck up and the belt jumps one groove over. The fan side of the belt is riding on the edge of the very bottom pulley.

My question is how do I check the alignment of the pulleys? I'm convinced that one is out of alignment somewhere, but to the naked eye they all look to be correct. If I somehow find one out of alignment how do I align it back to where it should be? Am I just destined to take this thing to a mechanic?

The truck is a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 , auto, air, 4x4, 5.9L.

hmmm, with the belt off and play with the pulleys and see if there is any excessive movement.....are you sure the tensioner is on correctly? routing?

No excessive play (all are very tight, but spin freely) on any pulley and as far as I can tell the tensioner can only go on one way. The routing is identical to the routing diagram.
