just be aware that you can buy a brand new 3815 for $230, so don't overpay.

there is a slight risk in buying these things used. some people will outright cheat you, selling it when they know its vin locked. but there's alot of people just buying and selling stuff and have no idea how tuners worked. they just sort of assume that if you have the box in hand, it must be a usable tuner.

 

ya, they guy has 100% positive rating with 210 of those little star thinggys, and he says its unlocked in big bold letters right in the ad. ill wait until i try it out on my truck, before i leave feedback on it.

help quick, i found a 3815 on ebay for 150, but he says hes not sure if its vin locked, but says he used it to add a tune to his 03 hemi, and then used it again to undo the tune and return to stock, how long does it take for one to vin lock?

and can it be undone?
