Default A/C vacuum leak

There is a vacuum leak somewhere in my A/C system. I think its the soft plastic connector on the back of the switch, in the dash. Is this part known for leaking?

i have a leak too but i haven't thought to check out that connection. blow some smoke at it with the ac on to see if it gets sucked in. if you don't smoke then light some incense or a piece of cardboard and blow out the flame so its smoldering.

Check out a post called wild vents. It will show you where to check for the common vacuum leaks to fix that problem.

A vac leak wont cause the blower to stop working it's elec but it will cause the mode doors to shift to default post (defrost) ck all your lines outside and under the battery where the cruise controll servo is thats where most leaks are

It sounds like it has stopped working because it shifts to the defrost mode. I think most of the guys on here have experienced it and we all know the remedy to this, so while I did not directly address his claim of the blower motor stopping we all know what the fix is.
