engine won't start

Default engine won't start
My 97 won't start. It was running fine went out to start it and the engine turns over But it does not start, I can smell gas as if it was flooding out so it seems to be getting gas. Any help?

Check Dist. cap wires, or at least that is what I would do first, then check to see if you are getting a spark.
