HankL was indeed awsome.
I agree! I always like reading his replies as well. They are always full of info and sometimes answer questions that hadn't been asked yet. (I'm choosing to speak of him in the present tense in the belief that he'll return to this forum. HankL, WHERE ARE YOU?!!!)

IIRC, he left after the 4.56 gear thread, it's in one of the links I provided. That was the last go around for him. If you go to his profile, it shows that he still logs in from time to time. Last time he logged in was back in June....

Oh,

hmmmm. thanks for the link to the 4.56 gear thread.
i had never read that.
are all 3rd gen members total ********
or just some of them ?

another little tidbit
Hank often made mention of coal, ohio, and kentucky.
google turns up reference to a Henry Laviers, coal mining owner from the 1910's.
also, Henry Laviers IV was a coal producer in 1980, donating money to locak KY elections.

Here's another patent of HankL, also involving coal.
He might have been Henry the 5th...

I remember HankL. He always has some damn good info in his posts and always takes the time to carefully form his post.

Hey, found some more good stuff from Hank:

Guess he had a thing for indexing plugs, and bikinis.

Maybe we should start a "Best of HankL" thread and sticky it at the top?
