Stock Rim Size tire question

I have recently replaced my stock rims with Crager V5 steel rims with 265.75.16 tires. I was told I could run 285.75.16 Tires with out modifying the truck. My questions are, do any of you have a 98 1500 4X2 with 285.75.16 tires? If so did you have to mod the truck in any way?
