Wish I had 93 in my area. Highest I can find is 92, and thats with 10% ethanol junk, so I ping at WOT above 65-ish MPH with my 3815's performance tune.

Me too. I even ping when its on economy and im climbing a slight hill at 70 mph...

Is the plenum gasket bad? If not try Seafoam, worked wonders on getting rid of the carbon buildup that was causing the pinging in my friends 4.0 ranger.

i ran seafoam through the gas, and poured 1/2 can in my oil, change the oil, and even though it had roughly 2000 miles on it, it was black after using seafoam, i do notice better get up and go now that i ran seafoam through it.

It needs to go directly into the intake via a vacuum line for best results.

You can get 93 up there. Your not that far away form the big gas stations on I 80 go there and fill up. Thats where I get gas for the ride home.

I don't have any ping on 87 tune the mpg one or tow tune. I'm running tow tune.

yeah, its completely out of the way to go to I-80. Im not close to it at all at ESU. Id spend half a tank getting there to fill up. But, i was refering to home, theres nothing around where i live.
