Lightbulb Calipers...

Hey guys. I'm about to buy my calipers this week. I been doing alot of researching on new calipers. I got prices set up but then spoke to Glenn from EGR PERFORMANCE INC. He said the new reman. calipers wont last long and his blueprinted ones will last. He wrote...... WE OFFER OUR SINGLE PISTON BLUE PISTON CALIPER WHERE WE HAND FIT THE BORE TO THE PISTON SO WHEN IT GETS HOT AND SWELLS AND DOESN’T STICK IN THE CALIPER BODY. WITH OUT PADS THE B-P CALIPER ARE $240.00 FOR THE PAIR SOLD EXCAHNGE. Now is it worth it? I need the brakes to be good from pulling my 6x12 trailer w/ my mowers/ect on it and dont have money to keep buying calipers, granted the ones on the truck now are oringinal. Just wondered if anyone has these or heard of the blueprinted EGR "stock" calipers. Thanks!!

Never heard of them.
I don't know why you would have to 'keep buying calipers'.
You shouldn't need to upgrade that much with a little trailer like that.
Those are expensive. If I were going to upgrade calipers, I'd look for a multi piston one. But I've only seen a larger bore single that was of any reasonable price. Still, that's expensive.

$120 for a rebuilt caliper?? Wow. I think I would pass on that.

no this is the first time but want it to be the last.. thats what i meant... i thought they seemed expensive. I would love the dual piston but way out of my budget...

So i'm looking at a set of the bendix calipers.. They seem good and are $120pair then when cores get sent back will be $75.00

Feel free to throw out some other companies that are good. New to the dodge world!
