Faded Paint..Any Helpful solutions?

Default Faded Paint..Any Helpful solutions?

I just got done peeling off my sticker decals "sport" "Ram 1500" "Magnum V8" and pinstriping from my truck. Its a bright white clearcoat and i scrubbed it all clean and smooth. But you can still see where the stickers were and read them as if they are still there, any ideas on how i can fix that? I already tried several washes, hand scrubbing, power washing, and polishing with orbital buffer. Thanks.

only if it clear coat safe... but it is white so you would problemy not see the hair lines,oh well


try meguiars, clear coat body scrub paint cleaner

Should have used a Heat gun or eraser wheel to remove them.

I used meguiars on my old gmc sonoma. the paint had been faded because it was always outside. i forget the name but it was in a black bottle. i think maybe paint restore. it was a night and day difference after i was finished. i'm very pleased with meguairs products

well if it bothers you that bad maaco (thats a big painting company around here and i imagine through out the US) painting will paint your truck the same color for $250 not including any of the insides...

rubbin compound, polish, wax.

Maaco's paint does not last very long. I am a painter by trade and you will be better off using a good product such as Dupont, PPG, ect..
