No Worries. Figure about $1,100-1,500 per axle for a gear swap and setup.

Do you know how to setup a ring and pinion? It takes special tools and specific knowledge beyond the ability of most mechanics. It isn't the kind of thing you DIY without knowing how to do it. Just a ring and pinion set will run you $350-500 per axle, but you'll also need new bearings and seals and a shim kit, so figure about $500-600 per axle minimum.

The d44 i had to put money in with doing 8 hub bearing on the drives side never the pass side. I had 2 of my teachers look at them which they are both ASE master tech. No one could find the problem U-joints are fine, axle shaft had no run out, axles nut torque to specs, hub bolts torque to spec. Then drive 3 miles down the road and then go bad lol. Keep in mind with 31/10.5/15 tires. The only reason i am going to 60's is because my rear end took a **** and a 9.25 rear end's are going for 600-800 with the 3.92 ratio. I was thinking that the 60's would hold to a 38 ground hawg. I was just asking if anyone has ran a 38 with a 3.54 ratio and not have problems..

If i can get a new R&P, carrier, master kit for front and rear under 800 ill change them out.

Thanks, James.
