i do not know much about your moneys. i say get both of them checked out by a machanic, assuming both get a 100% thumbs up i vote for the 2001. it is new, more than likely less miles, the rubber floor (like what i have) are some much better than carpet, and the blue looks like it's seen its share for off roading which isn't good for the following buyer. i vote for the 2001. plus black is a sexy color when all cleaned up and shining.

 

due to the 98 have alot more done to it its prob been beating to death and 2 yrs older and it has the 5.2

go with the newer low miles and the bigger motor and gears man black looks good too

 

i wish i had waited to get a 5.9..... i hate my 3.9. but its got low miles to.

2001s came with the death flash from the factory. Even if the intakes are "fixed" by a previous owner, the death flash will still be there unless reprogrammed by a performance shop or tuner.

I'm with the rest/majority of the guys that have already "voted". I'd get the black truck, and talk it down in price.
