dont remember, but i do believe that i just took my bulb to autozone and matched it up to a led one that was on the rack......if not, you can always go onto ebay and type in the bulb# then add led to the end of it.....will work for just about any bulb

Sylvania says the bulb is a 579 bulb which is for some reason difficult for me to find. The other thing is it can't be a straight blub with led's on the end, it would have to be a 360 type or similar for a dome light like the regular bulb right?

My buddy just did the led conversion for his done and courtesy lights in his 08, and that made a huge difference. That is what got me interested.

just buy the pack of 4 prewired leds, use at least two of them in the dome light, thats how i did mine, and its actually pretty bright, though i might add 1 more led. all you really have to do with it is twist the ends of the wire together, and push it into where the bulb would go or you can crimp a spade terminal onto it and do it like that... ill have a right up with pics soon, just been busy with college, and work.

Thanks for the link, but I was hoping for something more directional. That is going to shoot all the light to one spot (and not at the direction of down.) The refracter is also above the bulb (again the linked light shoots towards passenger side) so that isn't any help either. I am thinking about trying my luck and fabricating something like this to work

http://superbrightleds.com/specs/WLED-xHP10-D.htm

From some quick measurements it looks like the light assembly will hit the refractor so I may need to do something with that. Also im not sure if the light end will fit in the socket correctly since it isn't ment for it. Guess ill do some homework...
