That's a replica of a '50s Merc grille. Maybe you can find the real thing?

Nope. The black truck is a guy I know on DeviantArt. He is also going to look for me as well. Since my grille is going downhill fast I am going to replace it with a an all black grille and paint my hood satin black like Mopar did back in the day. I think the Sweet Tooth looks much better on an all black grille than on a chrome one. I like every ones suggestion of maybe finding an old Merc or Vette grille and modding it but I don't have that kind of time. Especially since I work full time and go to school full time as well. Here is the other grille I am considering as well:

Sorry, but do you just want your truck to look like a ferd? That's about what you will accomplish with that grille.

Why not put an OEM in and put some billet inserts into it?

Admittedly the grille does look a bit like the Lincoln truck that came out a couple of years ago. But I have seen a couple of 03-08 RAMs around with the vertical bar grille and they look awesome. It is a decision that I will have to make in the near future. I have looked at quite a few billet inserts over the last year or so and really haven't found many that I really like.

Once upon a time we did Miami. Funny I was looking at that same grill in a ready to paint black primer for mine. Was debating either color match or pearl black.

Where did you find that one Twisted? I would love to be able to paint the thing black with silver or chrome vanes.
