Default LA 360 in a 94 sport?

Im sure that this has been asked before, but im lazy...sorry..

anyways...can anyone give me a quick answer as to what issues there will be with putting the LA360 and 727 into the 94 sport with a magnum 5.9? i imagine that the biggest issue, if any, will be the motor and trans mounts...and i know that people have done this swap, im just not sure who to ask about it...

thanks in advance.

I would think that your main issues are going to be motor mounts, adapter plates to the existing tranny, and the biggest issue- Computer controls.... That 94 has OBDI, but it's still enough to cause from grief.

Why would you want to replace the Magnum with a LA 360? The Magnum is definatly superior to the LA.

It should be fairly easy to fab up mounts for it, and have a drive shaft made. You're going to have to do something about the fuel pump (rewire to run off the key and add a regulator or remove it and use a mechanical pump.) Obviously all of your gauges will be dead, probably the best route to go would be to remove the stock gauge cluster and make a custom one with mechanical gauges.

Another alternative would be to keep the PCM to run all of your gauges. They sell kits to turn the mechanical speedometer output on the 727 into an electronic signal, so you could retain the factory speedometer/odometer.
