I believe it gives you 2-3 inches and it will ride like a 2500 not as soft ...I have 2500 springs in my 1500 and its a bit bouncy but I think my shocks are bad you will need add a leafs or blocks in the rear because the 2500 springs are wider than 1500 I believe. add a leafs give a stiff ride...mine do.

The V8 springs will net a little less lift than the V10 or Diesel springs (my truck gained just over 3" with the diesel springs, the V8 ones are usually around 2").

Ride stiffer? Oh yeah! But, get a nice shock like a Bilstein and it will ride just fine (but yes, MUCH stiffer than stock).

And like Augiedoggy stated, the rear springs don't just swap out because they are wider, so an add-a-leaf is the easiest fix. Don't add another block on top of the stocker.

Default Front Coil Spring Diesel OR V10

Hey anyone know where I can get a front coil springs from a diesel or V10? I will then add a leaf in the back to lift the truck a little. I have been looking locally and can't an used one or online right now.

BTW will my stock shocks max out doing this little mod?

Junk yard for the coils. I have some off road edition coils if you want them. Buy new shocks.
