Less than 10MPG and a high idle with a slight miss

You guys and your 14 MPG... I drive with a lead foot and got 10 MPG stock, 12 MPG with the upgrades/fixes I've done. 2 MPG isn't worth driving like an old farmer to me. 
Besides, driving like that in a city setting at times will get you or someone else killed, sometimes you have to push it.
And I'm calling B.S. on 16 MPG with a 5.9L V8, unless that was highway mileage.
I'd do as Squirrels suggested. He knows what he's talking about.
