PO753 & PO455 Codes?

Default PO753 & PO455 Codes?

Ok i know what the Codes Mean i have a Chilton.

PO753 is Shift Solenoid "A" Electrical (37) My ? is Where do i look for this at? Can't find it in the Chilton.

PO455 is Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Gross Leak)
My ? for this is whats that mean?

I'v Done a search on here and find stuff for the Shift solenoid but nothing on where it is. I found nothing on PO455.

Also are these thing i can fixs my self?

The P0455 leak may just be the gas cap isn't on tight enough. Make sure its screwed on all the way, clear the codes. If the code comes back, buy a new gas cap, put it on, clear the codes. If the code still comes back, the issue isn't the gas cap, the issue is probably in the lines from the EVAP canister.

I believe the solenoid is on the other side of the valve body, but I could be mistaken. I'd wait for someone more knowledgeable on our transmissions to post a response before doing anything with that. Have you checked the transmission relay in the PDC? I've read a bad one of those can give a P0753. Replace it and see if that fixes the issue, may be a cheap, quick fix.
