Default Steering and A/C issues

another new guy here. I've got a 96 ram 1500 excab 4x4. 3"lift. It had a 5.2 but just put in a 98 5.7. anywho, got a couple questions. 1st I've gone through some older post about steering and found good info on track bar stuff but what about ball joints and stuff. What brand do you guys recomend. my front end is making all kinds of racket, but drives straight. I figured I would replace it all at once. I looked at some ebay stuff but it looks as cheap as the price, scared to use it. 2nd question. when i accelerate over 1000-1500rpm's my ac quits blowing from the front vents. as soon as i let off the throttle it kicks back on. It did the same thing before the engine swap. looked for leaky vacuum lines, I'm figuring it's a relay but don't know where to look. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've been a mostly a chevy guy, but got this truck a yr ago and love it.

Moog for front end and ball joints is a personal preference.

Do a search here for "wild vents", it will give you all the info you need to diagnose and fix the problem.

I your heater controls are loosing vacuum it is a common problem on these trucks. There is a vacuum one way valve on the vacuum lines before the fire wall, check see if that one way vent is really one way still if not replace it but if it is then you have a vacuum leak inside the dash somewhere and may have to check around the inside of the dash. As for the suspension parts go with moog stuff it is the best.
