Well, I got it out. I did disconnect everything before unbolting the straps. Basically what was happening was the strap was just getting hung on the threads of the bolts. The front one was a pain because the driveshaft mount is in the way. Now I have to take the rollover valve from the old pump to put on the ew pump. How do I get that out? Is it just push really hard and it pops out?

I got the rollover valve out. I used a flat bar and torqued it out.

It's been a while since I posted. I got the new pump in finally. Not only does the truck start now, it runs way way better than before. I can hear the fuel pump, my gas guage works (little depressing), truck got its ***** back and the idle is perfect and solid. It even sounds better, especially when idleing. Im getting the chug chug sound instead of the bumpety bumpety sound. I can get the wheels to spin a good bit from a stand still with no brake, and it doesn't bog down anymore. This is the best thing I have ever done for my truck. No more starving my horses, this new pump is giving them all the fuel they need to kick ***. Getting the tank back in wasn't all that bad, still havent secured the heat shield on the back to the tank, so it occasionally pushes up against the drive shaft and makes a racket, but it's no big deal and it's kinda funny. I hope I never have to do that switch again.....

good to hear that it helped your truck out so much.
you had better fix that heat shield pretty quick, if it knocks the weight off the drive shaft and gets it out of balance your drive line won't be too happy.
