If you have a small coolant leak it may get air in it and start gurgling in a week or three.

3924 is the autolite equivalant recommended by Dodge.3923 is a mod from the forum here. The actual factory plug for the V-8 is a Champion RC12YC

I live in Ohio. The fan clutch was bad, the water pump bearing was shot but still worked. I replaced the pump fan clutch and thermostat.

Do you have all of the engine tin in place? Yes, every piece of metal should be there as it serves a purpose.

To the OP -- You'll have to park your truck at a crazy, obscene angle to get the filler neck high. Open it, start the truck, and bleed the air. My truck has been giving me fits for 3+ years with running hot, and after EVERYTHING possible, I parked it at a harsh angle and did what I told you to do. It's been almost two weeks and she doesn't run hot.

Well the rams fixed....put a 180 stat in today and the highest she goes is close to 190 and is usually around 185.(even after venting all the air out I noticed my original stat seemed to open late)..still going to put colder plugs in it soon.
as far as the wv its a kitcar with a completely open bottom (engine area) and no way to seal it up so...with that said it has all of the tin except the usless in my application front piece that would seal the underside from the top and the heater hoses go through...I made a homemade one so the exhaust heat doesnt get sucked back into the engine bay but it doesnt do much....But those are questions better left to the samba forum.... so back on topic..

Well the heater was nice and hot today....took it for a half hour cruise....
Cool, Small world. I've always lived here myself....The winters do suck but the extreme seasons make you appreciate spring and summer more...(Or so I keep telling myself)
I actually have a company van so the truck wont see daily use in the winter....It is my driver for snow storms though...I hope its alright...I actually drove my vette a couple times in the winter in a pinch a couple years ago and it heated up ok with a 160 degree stat, when it decided to work at all (damn chevy...lol jk)

i replaced my thermostat with a cold one i think it was 168 or 172 not sure but it runs under the 200 mark. i drove it to s.c. day before yesterday and as soon as night fall hit the temp gauge ran down in the 150 area the entire time up in south carolina and the same during the day as well keep in mind 9 hours of driving then 8 back with maybe 2 stops once i hit florida and had the a/c running again the truck ran just before or just at 200 running at 70 on the high way.......i still am wondering about the intake gasket thing that i keep hearing about with the 360..? what is the deal with that?

otherwise the truck ran awesome on the high way with no problems other then my exhaust hanger breaking lol =)
