1999 Ram 1500 Front End Rattle

Got the rattle fixed! It was the top shock mounts. I cranked them down until the rubber bushings started to bulge and it is as good as new.

i had a similar problem with mine, i replaced the suspension all the way around, new ball joints etc. (i do my own work) and found that the one bolt at the top of the shock had to be tightened with an impact gun, and it took care of my problem but we may have had different sounds

Check your coil spring. I had the same noise, turns out it was a broken piece about 3 inches long bouncin around in the lower control arm.
