2001 ram 1500 a/c problem

Default 2001 ram 1500 a/c problem

v/8 , 2 wheel drive , automatic. 172,000 miles on it. friends truck. a/c instantly stopped blowing cold air. mechanic looked at it for her and said something about "a-sensor" under the dash. he said it,s alot of labor to access it. anyone here have a similar problem? thanks for any advice.
