Default Air conditioner

Not quite sure what to do about this one. When I press on the gas and get to a higher rpm the flow from my ac goes from the front to the defroster. I fixed a vacuum leak before but I don't see another one or know where to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated considering I live in Arizona and it's about to start getting warm again. lol Thanks!

You definetly still have a vacuum leak. Where was the leak you fixed? Check the vacuum line that runs along the frame rail on the passenger side. It can sometime get a hole burned in it because it is so close to the exhaust. That was were my vacuum leak was. Easy to fix too.

I've got the cure! First go get a vacuum check valve from your local parts place. Buy some adapters to go from the littlest vacuum line they have(like windsheild washer fluid tube size) to the one on the check valve.Pull your bezel off(the trim thing around the gauges and stereo).
Remove the a/c switch box from your dash. find the black vacuum tube (they are color coded) this is the main line for the vents. Install your check valve per instructions and reinstall your ac controller and bezel.
There is a TSB that says to put it in the engine compartment, but this much easier than tracking down the other end of the line besides it is much closer to the problem area and your check valve wont be subjected to the high engine compartment temperatures.
Hope this helps you, it works on any vehicle that has this problem***CHEVYS***
By the way Im in AZ too thats why I HAD TO fix mine, jeez I cant wait for the monsoon.....(we'll just skip summer this year)
