so, since you use to carry Silla, and you now know there crap, does that mean that you replaced or at the very least, notified all the people you sold those to. Kind of like a recall of sorts. Or was it just a "not my problem anymore" type of deal? how exactly do you warrant you radiators? I hope I'm not coming off as an ***, I'm just trying to gauge what kind of seller you are.

You ***! No, Just Kidding. Well Radiators are different. Especially if it is an aftermarket replacement to a car with no crazy engine modifications and what not. The aftermarket radiators...well...the GOOD aftermarket radiator manufacturers will test their products to ensure that they meet and or exceed the specs of the OEM radiator.

If you are coming from your OEM radiator and you have done tons of Mod's etc, I would definitely recommend thicker cores, brass/copper, etc. But one thing I have learned is people are very stubborn with pricing. They want a 4-row all brass/copper for the same price as a 1 or 2 row plastic/aluminum radiator. Well...its pretty much impossible. People start b*tching about prices, etc... well, now that is part of the reason as to why they make plastic/aluminum radiators.

As far as your concern with Silla and the past customers; I am not by any means saying that 100% of their products fail, but I will definitely say that they are NOWHERE NEAR the quality of others. As far as past customers who have bought Silla products from me, well, the ones that had fit issues were obviously resolved right away. As far as manufacturer defects... They were given replacement radiators (from a different manufacturer). The manufacturer defects... I send right back to silla so they can resolve it on their end.

With the Rads, I have noticed that... when you get your new radiator...the 1st part is to install it and to make sure everything fits perfect. After that, bolt it in, hook up all the hoses, fire up the motor and let it get to operational temperature. More than likely, 99% of the time, if you don't have a problem with the new radiator within the first 45 minutes of it reaching operational temperature... it should last you for many years and beyond.

As far as warranty stuff I do not cover. I do not cover people putting water into their radiators (you can tell when they do). Of course they will tell you that they didn't though. I am not going to cover somebody saying "The radiator came with stripped out bolt holes". The Radiator does not come with from the manufacturer with the bolt holes stripped out. I have had many customers (I mostly do business to business) mess up! over tighten it and crack it, strip it, etc. when they can admit fault, and stand up for their mistake (they happen) I will work with them. Humans make mistakes and when they are willing to not dick me over to try to get a free-be (The radiators do cost me money) I will make it right for them.

I ate $300 on a re manufactured A/C compressor last week for a 08 subaru forester. Dealer wanted $700 for it. I though (so manufacturer said) I had the one he needed (reman). We went through with the order. My manufacturer screwed up and he got the wrong part and now they are having trouble finding another one to build from. I gave him his $300 back shipped it back for him, and currently trying to get the specs on it so I can have his originally one re manufactured.

holy hell, I just typed a novel.
Long story short, I always do what is right for my customers.

Heres an email I got from a recent customer:

"I almost forgot, I'm sorry, I told you I'd let you know when I got the radiator in. I did it, and man, that was job, I ended up taking the whole front end off just about. ANyways, it was perfect. I thank you so much for all you help. I will definately call on you agin. And God bless youu, you're a GREAT person and it's been my pleasure to know you. Again, thanks Corey for all"

It may have a sticker on them. Some manufacturers even put little tags on the Core the of the radiator. But possible on one of the tubes. Chances are, if it was a silla, it will come in a big white box that says "Silla" on the side of it

Website is down at the moment as it is being completely rebuilt hopefully within the next 2 week. Also, you would not be able to have open access to my inventory levels without business license information, tax id information, business development plans, pricing schedules, etc.

I was on here poking around and saw a need and figured, hell, I could hook somebody up. Not really going to get into an argument for trying to help and do a favor. I provided you with helpful information on the "Ebay" radiators you were so concerned about. If I can help you, email me, shoot me a phone number and I will get ahold of you. If not, I am sorry

at that price it has to be a silla. I have noticed that when they do not put the "part brand" chances are it is Accela and radiator dealz or radiatorguyz seem to carry a lot of silla. If it worked for you and isnt leaking or nothing, you should be good to go!

Koyorad makes the best replacement radiator but they come with a price tag.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but I'm ready to bite the bullet and buy one. Does anyone have any horror stories about certain sellers I should stay away from? Are there any good sellers to take a look at? Sure I can look at their feedback but I'd rather take advice of DF members. Thanks Fellas...
