Okay. I have a 97 Ram with the Infinity System and its a Club Cab.. I have no bass whatsoever so I'm going to say my mid-range speakers are blown.

When I turn the direction towards the rear you can barely hear anything.

The high-range speakers have a tendancy to distort and pop after turning my JVC headunit past 30.

Could someone outline what the Infinity system comprises of? I know there are some external amps are the door speakers, where are they?

I think I'm going to replace the HU, toss in a couple of Kicker Comp 10s, replace the tweeters and mids and do something about the back speakers. Anyone have dimensions for me?

Yep, lots of info on audio and the Infinity systems already in here. FYI, if you want quality sound then ditch the Infinity stuff. The amps are mounted directly to the front door speakers and they don't work well with aftermarket head units. Find my thread on my upgrade.

Maroon, thanks for looking out.

what i did was buy new speakers, and run wires directly from the head unit to the speakers, and then the regualr harness for the rest. i have a 1000W amp with a 10 in. Kicker L5. and it pounds, and the vocals go way over the bass, so it sounds perfect

Seriously? Maybe I should put a link to every post I make in here, just in case? You found a couple of threads on your temperature sensor question, but instead of posting to one of them you created a new thread. This is why the search sometimes is so difficult to use. If instead of starting a new thread people would post to an existing related thread, searching would be a lot more focused and helpful. Just a thought.
