Default transmissions

i have a 1996 dodge 1500 pick up with a v8 with an auto transmission i also have a 1996 dodge 1500 pick up with a v6 manual transmission would i be able to swap transmissions

will transmissions swap from a v6 manual to a v8 auto both 1996 1500 pick ups

i believe i read somewhere on this site that they have the same bolt patten so maybe? sorryi couldnt be more help

Yes, a V6 ram should have a NV3500, these also came behind 5.2s.. There is some debate to whether they are strong enough for a 5.9 but if you're not beating on it or towing a whole lot it's fine.
