Default 1997 Ram High Beams Always On?

I have a 1997 Ram 1500 and driving yesterday the high beam indicator came on as well as the highbeams. When I got home I turned the truck off but the high beams were still on. I now have to pull the battery cable to get them to turn off. Has anyone had this issue or know a fix? Thanks from a newbie!

My guess is that you have either a switch issue, or your daytime driving lamp module fried. Its the black box on the drivers inner fender under the ABS stuff...pull the plug out and you can hook your battery back up. Your lights will work fine without it plugged in.
