If you go through a lot of mud like I do, I bought a ACCEL cap/rotor and wires for my truck and they seem to be able to handle more of the mud and water then stock stuff will. ACCEL's cap is a little thicker then stock so it doesn't crack real easy and the one I got came with a thick o-ring to put on the bottom to seal from water.
it mises because water got under the cap, done it to me before, once it dried out, ran fine. you could put some high temp silicone on the bottomw of it to seal it and keep water out. after replacing it, the rotor, and wires.
well, radiator cracked while playin in the mud (i cant stay away from it, it's like crack) so after replacing it, i said what the hell and bought new wires (too lazy for cap and rotor). seemed to fix it, didnt miss all day. on a side note my buddy broke my oh **** handle...

Never seen the OH ****!!! handle on our trucks. Wish we had ones in our trucks. I love the one in my S-10. But I always wonder why Chevy put so many grab handles in their trucks? Cant even get the damn thing to spin the tires in rain!!! But I saw a Silverado the other day that had the OH ****!!! handle bent down in the middle. Wondered how the **** i that happened!!!
ya true. and its fairly easy to crack a rad, on a trail, a decent sized tree branch can cause a crack. though it probly cracked in the plastic. from the bouncing up and down that most trails, and pits have.
