Transmission Questions...
So I fried my transmission... it was only a matter of time. Long story, but now it's done. I'm taking it to have it rebuilt in a few days, and I'm looking for advice on how to build my transmission up for hauling so I don't ruin it again. I know for a fact I'm putting a cooler on it, but I can't find much info on shift kits?
It's a 1999 Ram 1500 4x4 with a 318 motor. I regularly haul horse trailers and move hay. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I would have the Sonnex Sure Cure installed, Hopefully the shop has Dodge truck experience, Just make sure they know what you use the truck for and have them beef it up and put in all the upgrades you want.
just for discussion, here's some of the components of aftermarket rebuilds that are advertised as very durable.
and +1 on Sonnax Sure Cure.
