Tranni help
My 01 1500 dodge Ram 4x2 shifts awesome but have noticed when going from rev or park to drive it will be kinda sluggish (Does not do it all the time). It also makes a turbine whining sound in gear, it goes away when put in park......I'm going to do a tranni flush pretty/ change filter soon. is there anything in there I should check/clean/change? For having 141,000 on the truck the tranni is REALLY strong.....When going down the highway the RPMS stay right with the MPH.
Thanks

I do NOT recommend that you do a flush. It would probly do way more harm than good. Id just do a fluid and filter change. Make sure you get ATF+4. And you may want to look into doing the check valve delete while your servicing the tranny. Do a search for it.
Ahh, you're the guy who told me flushing was bad in the last thread. Just wanted to say, If you are driving the truck, and it shifts fine, why would a flush be bad? You are using the pressure of the pump to flush the old fluid out and to put the new stuff in, how is that any different than driving the truck?
