seems to be a decent radio but if you ordered through crutchfield you got raped, I order my stuff through woofersetc.com and they have great prices. Also you could regain some of that control back with some crossovers just a thought.

I paid under $150 on eBay, new, not refurb.

The speakers are components and have crossovers.

I've not used their stuff in a while but I know back several years ago JVC Arsenal head units were very decent units. Having used them a long with Alpines and other brands at the same time the JVC Arsenal ones were one of my favorites. They were JVC's higher end line and very decent products. Not sure if that still applies as like I said it's been years since I've used them.

Not sure about that site but the nice thing about Crutchfield is in addition to great support they offer a manufacturer warranty on everything they sell. A lot of online sites don't. Now their prices are expensive usually but some people chose to want a good trust worthy warranty and the support that Crutchfield offers.

Well for twice the the price on some thing's i'd say it works, at least on this site you still have the manufacturer warranty you just have to send the warranty card in like most stores. The support is really a non-issue to me, I've done lots of car audio set ups and just figured anyone ordering a complete system that wants to do it there-self really doesn't need it explained.

I got much new respect for guys who do this stuff for a living. I am whooped. I installed the amp wires, speaker wires, crossovers, and eight speakers. That stuff wasn't too bad... it was the sound deadener that was a PIA to install.

I had to remove and install the seat by myself.

Head unit install tomm night and amp should be here on Tues.
