Interesting air cleaner find
During all my air intake testing back a few years ago, I made one almost exactly like that. I used the air cleaner assembly you see in the pic below. It came off a 1978 small block mopar, and the diameter of the carb that was on the engine was the exact same as the diameter of out TB's, so it is a perfect fix on our trucks. Besides fitting our TB's just right, I also picked it because I liked how the snorkel/tube openings come of the front of the assembly are seperated by only about 45 degrees, instead of 180 like that craigslist one. This gave it a more direct path for the air to travel as it came up from the front of the truck into the air cleaner. I had also found some tubes at a junk yard that look much like what you see in the picture of that craigslist one. They attached to each of the snorkel openings and would run down to the opening in my bumper. Unfortuantly, after I build it, I never installed it or tried it. It is all still sitting in my garage. My goal was to make essential the same thing as the Ram-Air-Box, except keep it looking old school to go along with the way my engine looks with the valve covers and stuff.
I was even going to repaint the assembly and affix one of the decals you see in these pics to make it look old school, but still show the proper engine designation. I have these decals in my garage still too. I should reserect this project just to see how it works.

That CL post was deleted by the author so cant comment on how ugly it looks
The old school box Silver has while looks great having a retro look, the 45deg inlet spread will be an issue. Id expect the inlets & ducting will be coming in contact with the alt & ac. Thats why ramairbox suggests using the 110* spread box for the Magnum engines (Dak or Ram). No interferance from accessories.
Using the box from www.ramairbox.com I got 13.99 best et with a stock 5.9 from tb down.

@ 70mph, approx 2150rpms I did see 1/2psi boost on my boost vac gauge. Any more rpms & the mtr would be sucking in more air than the ramair would supply so it would go back into vacuum.
