That does not make you a hypocrit at all, iv bought two cars because of it and sold both of them "great running cars" to people who actually needs a family car and takes great care of them.
I have a dealers license so i can goto the auction's and i see all of these truck and car's floating around in there an it actually kinda breaks my heart seeing all of these ****ing moron's destroying these perfectly good rig's. the worst one i saw was a guy pouring the oil out and put water in the engine just to see how long it would take to blow, Even though it was a ford explorer it was still sicking watching these low life pieces of horse semen do this crap. When i saw it i walked up to the small crowed and asked them what they were doing and they said they'er placing bets on how long it's going to take to blow this engine, i walked up to the guy who was going it and basicly told him i think he's lower than dog **** and i'd gladly beat the **** outta him if givin the chance, it made the groupe of people walk off but still you have no idea the crap that goes on at these auction houses.
I see animal rights people protesting, what about automobile rights ? seriously!!!!!
ok thats a lil too far but still, why dont they have any regulations on this crap ?
this just really proves to me how many worthless spoiled rotten childish piece of **** people who are on this earth to simply destroy everything they touch.

Someone tell me how dumping oil from the blown engines and smoke pouring out from the hoods of THOUSANDS of good running vehicles is going to save the environment like they are "proposing" to do? It only forces the lower income, hard working, blue collar people such as myself and many others to dump money into the corporations that already spent OUR money to keep them in business. Maybe I missed something, but this makes absolutely NO SENSE at all. Modifications to these "gas guzzlers" would be cheaper and more efficiant than destroying them and making new expensive vehicles that most of cannot afford. That video made me RED and even my fiance, who doesn't know much about mechanics, understand that this is not the direction we need to go. I would also like to add, when will anyone notice the newer vehicles quality is sub-par compared to the vehicles they are destroying?

Oh god i know man, it's insane what they'er getting away with. I mean there are prob 1 outta 10 people who actually give a **** about the issue and 1 outta 100 of them actually say something about it and it just falls on deaf ears. im to the point now when i goto the auction yard i dont even go on the lot i just wait untill they run them down the lane, i dont wanna watch what they do to them.

not very democratic of you to feel the way you do (that isn't exactly a bad thing). you know the democrats would rather use up more natural resources pumping out thousands upon thousands of new cars and keep everyone in debt in the way of a new car loan then keep the older (perfectly fine) cars on the road.

All we can do is take care of our trucks and drive em till they die, we don't need to support programs like "cash for clunkers", but if stupid people want to give up there older vehicles for some cash towards a new car/truck (remember not everyone is a mechanic or cares about their cars like we do) then they should be allowed to. Thats what makes a free country so great. And I'm by no means liberal, I work in the oil field that the liberal's hate so much...yet they love their heat come winter time, go figure.

+1 Everyone i feel the same way i love my 97 i would never get rid of it i will drive it till the tires fall off then repair it and drive it again lol. Also i have a friend who's looking for a 4x4 truck here we found an 01 sport with the off-road package and a bed-cover lifted, front end replacement, and after market wheels sitting on 35's. The dealer that had it was just gonna junk it because it needed some tranny work i wanted to hurt him my g.f had to push me to the truck before i did

My wife supports how i feel about cars and trucks but she would never understand. When i first met her i couldnt tell you how many times she would get jealous of my car's/truck's theres been more than once i told her not to make me choose because she wouldnt like the one i picked. Honestly think about how great the world would be if even half of the nation had as much passion about life in general as we do our trucks/cars.
