Steering Wanders
I have 2001 RamQC 5.9 4x4. It now has a 162,000+ miles on it. As with many high mileage Rams the steering wanders even though all the steering components including ball joints and alignments have been replaced or done with the exception of the steering box. I have found a solution to it. It is a bar that goes between the frame rails and attaches to the steering box where the sector shaft attaches. The one I am looking at is this one http://www.dieselperformance.com/ind...uct/index/151P Has anyone had any experience in installing and using one of these? There are several manufactures of these and I even think they could be had on Ebay. I think I might go this route if anyone thinks it is a good idea. I don't want to replace the box if I don't have to.
This one looks a little tougher and is $16 cheaper!
