Default turbo charger

i have been looking for a turbo for my 2000 ram 1500 but the only thing is that its gas and i havent found a clear cut answer on if there is one and/or is there anywhere you can get one

thanks what do you think about turbochargers compared to superchargers

make sure your engine and tranny are built up for the added power. I would go turo if i was ever goona do a power adder on anything. I can't stand the belt screech that some super chargers have. That is unless its the big *** old school blower thats sticking out of the hood. Thats just awesome

It depends on what you want to do with the truck. Your going to get big power out of the
turbo but with a rear mount kit you would have to keep your truck a street rig and not off
road with it. I have been told that you can get an engine bay mounted kit but I haven't run
across one yet. I like twin screw superchargers but not a fan of the centrifugal setups at all.
That's just personal preference a lot of other people enjoy the centrifugal.
As long as your engine is in good condition you don't need to beef it up to run low boost
forced induction. Your trans will suffer, IMO, and you are going to want to look into getting
a built one.
