ya, i dont know, but really if i didnt like the sound, i can just buy a new set of trumpets, and still keep the compressor, and tank. and all that, which is really gonna be why im buying it for 100 bucks, its worth it, even if i decide to buy a new trumpet

your probably right. I got my horns for free paid a few bucks for the tank and gonna get a Viair 480 which is like 200 bucks. Then I gotta get the relay and pressure switch and the electric switch so I can use a push button. I would have been better off buying a kit

ya, i was looking into build my own, with a 3 gal air tank, so i can use it to air up my tires if needed, but i found this one, and i can still run a t off the tank, and add an airhose fitting. and keep an airhose in the truck. and since i have the tonau cover im gona mount it in the bed. and use heater hose to use as a insulator for the tank to the bed.

Sounds like a plan. I have been wondering if I could some how use my setup to pump up my tires if need be. I don't wanna burn up my compressor though

thats why you just get a tank, and get a pressure switch to turn the pump on around 90psi, and turn off around 130psi, and 130psi in a 3 gallon tank, is alot of ****ing air. lol. should be enough to fill a tire that was aired down for traction right back up.
but i would prolly run some 10-12ga. wire to the compressor though.

if you didnt want to burn the compressor up, you could fill one tire, let it rest for like 5 mins, then fill another.

its worth a shot, free air, provided your battery doesnt go dead lol.

speaking of air systems, the idea i have for my next truck will blow your minds

im going to use an engine driven (either belt w. a/c style clutch, or gear drive) compressor, to a 10 gallon tank in the tool box, this system will be used to pressurize my airbags, which will be set up semi truck style (proportioning valve to adjust air pressure depending on load and a dump valve, which will have a switch, and two seperate gauges in the cab, one for system pressure and one for suspension pressure, so i don't overextend the airbags while unhooking a heavy trailer or taking a 2500 lb pallet of seed out of the bed), the system will also be used to run airtools, air up tires on anything, and power a 4 bell train horn (a real train horn)

it will basically be a semitruck style airsystem

I have I believe a 5 gal thats max 150 psi. I'm gonna get a hornblasters 150psi pressure switch with 40 amp relay, a viair 480, and the solenoid valve to use a push button.

Then hope to hell it sounds good
