No problems with it being mounted there at all. I can take some pics of it in certain angles if you want. Just let me know. The best part of the CB being mounted there is, It looks great, and i had to modify NOTHING. Just used the bolts and holes that were there from the factory..

Oh yea, The cig lighter isnt for the CB incase anybody was wondering. Its for my lights ive got behind the grill. Ill get a vid of em. I did originaly have the CB hooked to a cig lighter plug in. If anyone else was going to do that, i suggest you dont. Your receive will suck and your power wont be as high. Hook it straight to the batt so you have a good solid ground and power.

ya, if you dont mind, id like to see the back side of the radio in reference to the pedals and wires and such. and i figured it would bolt up without having to drill any holes.

and ya +1 on the cig plug, stick with the staright to battery, actually i need to run more wire for my ground to the bat, as i have it just to the mount itself.

it worked when i copy pasted, thats weird never had that before. but do you have larger versions of those pics? im really looking for 640x480 which is about the size of the rest of the pics that were posted, if not ill make do, but itll come out better if i keep it around the same size pics.
