Angry rear window leak?

My headliner is soaked right above my rear window. The seal above the window is wet? Took the 3rd brake light out and saw moisture down there. Could it be the seal on the 3rd brake light or the top part of the window seal. Its never done this before and its rained so much harder than it has been, so why would it randomly start?
So I'm stumped
And its like the trucks just takin a dump all at once. Both front wheel bearings need to be done, u joints, new cat, 2 new back tires( totally my fault )
and between school and work I'm broke and have no time for anything! <-- sorry for the little rant, had a terrible day at work.
Thanks
Mike

Just had our first rain since I bought the truck and got a wet surprise in the same area. Upon closer look it was obvious it had leaked before. Turned out it was the seal around the 3rd brake light and not the window. Rolled up a 1/4" bead of dum-dum (plumber's putty) and put it around the housing. Reinstalled and no more leak.

haha i wouldnt mind a new truck, but this one is paid off so thats the plus haha.
And Miami do you think like the 2 way spongy tape stuff would work or what? I looked around the house for anything earlier and couldnt come up with anything besides duck tape and super glue haha. idk might make a lowes run soon because its supposed to be wet all week and with winter around the corner, i need it. especially losing my garage spot to my wrecked car.

1+ on the gasket on the third light.

You can get a new "cup" or "gasket" at any parts store for <$8.00 For that price, I wouldn't jerry rig it, but that's just my opinion.

Well, if there's foam in it already, then it's already been dinked with. The gasket should be a soft rubber. Not foam.

sorry i just read my post didnt mean to sound like a *****. it was meant as a general question. My dad was original owner of the truck and then i got it, and as far as i can remember the 3rd brake light was never taken off. so idk its like rubbery foam to be honest. its hard to explain how it is.

It didn't read like you were being a *****, so no worries. That was just my way of saying," If there is foam in there, then it's been toyed with". You can see the gasket without removing the cover since it literally sits outside and around the lens.
