you guys find some meaty valve covers that are taller i wanna know about it.
we had to "modify" mine when we finished all of the head work. however, i didnt use the HS 1.7s, used the MP. wonder if there are any differences.

SMALL BLOCK WIDE VALVE COVER SET
This Wide Valve Cover Set uses stock production gasket. Features reversed lip design that allows the cover to be wider on the same gasket surface. The extra width allows for larger valve springs and longer rocker arms. Use with Stud Package (P4876676).

I just got the email with bad news too from them. They don't make it for newer magnum engines. Bah... They should expand their product market. I think the other guy said 1.7 non-adjustables will fit stock covers.

I noticed the mopar ones as slightly taller. Plus the baffles are different.
Go to ebay and look for some. YOu can get them for 100-150 depending on how many other guys want them. Took me 2 years and i got them for 101 plus 18 shipping.
Ensure they are the 10 bolt ones. There are LOTS of 5 bolt LA style ones out there on ebay.
I searched for the black and polished. The polished run from 130-175.
In all honesty, the ones I have in my sigpic were USED and they looked brand new. It is a rip off to pay 200 for them on summit. Just remember that part number for reference on ebay.

That price is a RIP OFF. ebay is the way to go. 10 bolt heads.
And the magnum engines that will fit are 1992-2003 (durangos still had magnums in 2003)
LA magnum = 5 bolt
Magnum = 10 bolt.
STAY AWAY FROM THE 5 BOLT VALVECOVERS
I am not shouting, I am making a bold statement :P
