Arrow 1997 Headlight upgrade?

I am looking to replace the headlights my new to me 97 Ram 1500. I am not looking for a "street racer" look. I am purely looking for function. I believe that lights for seeing, and tires for terra firma contact are the most important part of the vehicle. What do you guys suggest for replacing the lights. I am not just talking about a bulb upgrade. I am talking about a new lense housing too. It appears that the lense has "smoked" or "fogged" over time.

You could always buy a headlight restoration kit, cleans up that haze over the headlight and there around $30. It's a lot cheaper then replacing them.

you could get some stock sport headlights, they are clearer than the standard models and have dual bulbs

they make an adapter to go from single to dual bulbs or you can rewire yourself

or you could get some pretty cool aftermarket HID ones for less...work much better than stock and some still look stock. Lights are for seeing but if you can add more style and function whats wrong with that?. just like the choice of paint and trim they are cosmetic upgrades...to each his own I guess....
