yeah so you definitly know what I am going through. I am dreading doing this because winter is coming fast in Connecticut. And also if you don't mind, can i ask for a ballpark price range to replace the heater core and to fix the a/c unit? You had said that you replaced the evaporator, I was told that my condensor was bad. Is there a better way to better pinpoint and diagnose this problem? You seem to have a very good idea of what your doing! haha

You replace both, unless you want to take it apart again. To proper diagnose the evap core you put freon in and you need one of these(pic below). As far as price goes, I've seen anywhere from 400 to 1000 bucks on here. Took me about six hours, eight if you include beer time.

O.K. well that sounds more than reasonable to simply replace both while you got it all apart... I had worked at a local garage for a bit and while i was down there i had the guys take a look at it also. They had said there was no freon left in the system at all so the product you have shown above would probably make life easier in order to locate the possible leak...
